EJ Australia Upgrades Golf Club Parking with Modern Composite Access Covers At EJ Australia, we are proud to partner with local golf clubs to upgrade aging infrastructure, improve outmoded drainage systems, and modernize aesthetics. Our most recent collaboration with Keperra Country Golf Club saw EJ tackle a faulty, exposed access cover and an aged above-ground water meter. The first problem item, an exposed access cover in the parking lot, was causing a headache for Keperra Country Club staff and visitors as it was obstructing valuable space in the club parking lot, limiting parking capacity. To restore the access point, EJ supplied Keperra Country Club with a Class D composite cover. With a sleek, sturdy design, the composite solution is purpose-made to withstand considerable traffic loads, while still being lightweight and simple to open and operate for future access needs. In collaboration with a local pre-caster, EJ also had the cover pre-cast in a neat circular concrete surround, to ensure a simple and quick installation. After the excavation of the previous lid and surround, the new composite could be planted simply on top, with a bonding agent to secure it. The installation brought the entire structure back to ground level, freeing up additional parking spaces and leaving the parking lot as a more functional and safe space for club staff and customers. EJ also assisted the club in addressing an exposed, aged water meter chamber that dearly needed attention. Originally installed to enclose a raised water meter, the brick and timber box had worn down over the years, undermining the Club's aesthetic and proving dangerous for staff. Following a quick dismantling, EJ supplied and installed a sturdy modular NEXUS chamber system with two accompanying lightweight Class B fibre-composite covers. With a cleaner aesthetic and improved usability, the Nexus Pit enhances both the club's infrastructure and customer experience.
