Concrete Coating Solutions from Complete Acid Protection

A multi-national consortium, AdelaideAqua, won the bid to design, build, operate and maintain the plant for 20 years on behalf of SA Water. The plant, which will have the capacity to provide Adelaide with half its annual potable water, was constructed to an extremely tight schedule with delivery of its first drinkable water production expected by December 2010. Complete Acid Protections expertise in delivering solutions for urban stormwater management was a key factor in why we were awarded the contracts for concrete coatings.

Four key systems were specified for different areas of the plant:

System A - Siloxane - Dust Proofing Coatings for Electrical Rooms and Switch Board Areas

System B - Vinyal Ester Primer, 2 coats of 450 CSM, SCAL Coat, Top Coat

System C - Chemical Buildings, Heavy Chemical Resistant Coatings (Sulfuric Acid Protection) Non Slip Flooring, Shot Blasting

System G - High Traffic Areas & Machinery Plinth Coatings, 1 Coat of 156, 3 coats of 400N, Heavy Non Slip System, Covings on Walls to 300mm
