Greenwalls Come in All Shapes and Sizes - Even Coffee Cups

If you visit Disneyland in the US you can see one of the more recent Elmich Greenwalls at Starbucks. The Greenwall doesn't just provide shade, it is also an integral feature of Starbucks' branding as it is designed to look like a coffee cup.

The creative design features 1000 native plants that include senecia serpens and dwarf mondo grass and it was constructed using 78 Elmich Vertical Growing Modules. The modules were planted and then arranged to make the image of a coffee cup.

Preplanted before installation so they were grown in, the modules were then shipped to the site already grown. An automated irrigation system was also installed to keep the wall well watered between maintenance visits.
