Sottezza II is the latest addition to the best-selling range of undermount skylight blinds from Blinds by Peter Meyer. After the huge success of Sottezza, Weinor updates the product range with a streamlined conservatory awning that combines all the best features of its predecessor with all-new technologies and design enhancements. As an industry leader in window furnishings, Blinds by Peter Meyer is proud to be the exclusive supplier of the German-based company on the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Weinor designed Sottezza II to mount flush under a sloping roof, especially in large skylight windows to provide optimum heat protection. Its streamlined cassette design makes for an elegant feature in almost any architectural skylight and glass patio roof. The undermount skylight blinds operate at a minimum 3° pitch for coverage of large projections, with a relatively flat profile. Made for high flexibility and workability, Sottezza II can adapt to most structural situations.
Sottezza II features a cutting-edge rope clamping system. The product development team at Weinor tried and tested the assembly for secure positioning amidst various external forces while contributing to even fabric deployment. The rope clamping system also ensures the fast and hassle-free installation of Sottezza II by both professionals and do-it-yourself (D.I.Y.) enthusiasts.

Sottezza II comes in Stretch and OptiStretch versions. The basic Stretch design enables the fabric to be firmly clamped on two sides. The rope clamping system is reinforced with pulley technology to reduce fabric sag, as well as the risk of the fabric edges to hang over sideways to the minimum. On the other hand, Sottezza II OptiStretch securely positions the fabric on the side channel in a zip-like mechanism. Without its edges hanging over sideways, the fabric remains taut and free of the light gaps encountered in traditional window furnishings.

LED lighting can be integrated to the cassette in a discreet fashion, blending seamlessly with the architectural profile of the outdoor roof. LED-equipped Sottezza II is a highly popular choice, achieving an especially stunning ambience for nighttime gatherings on the patio.

Homeowners and design professionals can choose from a vast collection of fabrics for their Sottezza II assembly. Blinds by Peter Meyer offers 108 true colour acrylic fabrics, offering outstanding, long-term aesthetic value; 57 magic colour polyester fabrics, designed for unparalleled shape retention; and 32 specialty Percula fabrics, combining air, sun and privacy benefits. Moreover, there are 56 frame colours available.
