Rapid Roll Doors for Car Washes from DMF International

DMF have recently installed a few Series RL3000 rapid roll doors to car wash applications throughout Australia. Automatic car washes are increasingly requiring to offer protection against the car wash noise and overspray, and DMF International install these specialised high speed doors as a method of containing these "pollutants" with the doors being electrically integrated with the auto car wash system.

DMF have been custom manufacturing and installing high speed doors for car washes for over 25 years with a market share covering Australia and NZ. The rapid action doors are commonly operated automatically by integration with the car wash control system so, upon the entry of the vehicle, the door will close in a few seconds and then re-open again in only a few seconds on the completion of the wash cycle.

The door blades are manufactured using either tough polyester reinforced flexible PVC with a clear panel section, or an all clear flexible PVC panel up to 4mm thick which assists with light transmission and better sound insulation. Other design options may include an insulated door blade for an increased level of noise reduction using the RL3000 insulated high speed door model.
