New Wolfin membrane to block cell-phone transmission
Wolfin's new "cellphone block" membrane has been specifically designed to block mobile phone transmissions in and out of sensitive buildings constructed with flat roofs
whilst still acting as a stand-alone waterproofing system.
Wolfin CB has already been installed in prisons and in defence installations.
Most cell-phone blocking systems rely on electronic blocking devices situated in the area. Whilst effective these can play havoc with the mobile phone users living and
working in the immediate vicinity of the secure facility.
Wolfin CB prevents transmission through the areas that are traditionally the most difficult to block; the roof. Walls are blocked using metal cladding and the windows are
laminated to give an effective block with no ongoing costs.
Wolfin CB is based on Wolfin's GWSK self-adhesive membrane system that comes complete with its own system of steel profiles and cast-in details.
Wolfin CB will be marketed in Australia by Wolfin Membranes Australia. Wolfin can be contacted on 02-8336-1666 or kornmehl@projex.com.au.
