Bellis Australia's workshop sheet metal workers recently worked on a DLNG ethylene column for a ConocoPhillips control switch. The project required an effective insulation and cladding system that meets the J15 Fire Rating as needed by the client.

Bellis, who is currently in partnership with Aspen Aerogels to distribute Cryogel Z and other products, built the ethylene columns with 12 layers of Cryogel Z, 0.9mm stainless steel, plus cladding. This results in a strong insulation system that meets the column's thermal insulation requirements, including the required fire resistance as the J15 Fire Rating is also necessary in the screwing of both sides of each lap.
