Dulux Colour Awards

Epitomising Dulux position as the leader in colour, one of Australia's most influential and respected architects, Professor Emeritus Peter McIntyre, joins the prestigious judging team in the 2004 Dulux Colour Awards. A tireless reformer and innovator in the industry, Professor McIntyre has been impacting on Australia's architectural landscape for over 50 years with iconic achievements such as Melbourne's Olympic Swimming Stadium, Parliament Station and the Dinner Plain Alpine Village (freehold land near Mt Hotham, Victoria).

To have your work judged by Professor McIntyre and make your own colourful mark on the history pages of industry, hurry to submit your entry into the 2004 Dulux Colour Awards by Friday 19 March, 2004.

Now in their eighteenth year, the awards have been designed to celebrate and reward innovative use of colour using Dulux paints in architectural and design projects through a prestigious annual program.

Architects, interior designers, specifiers, and students who have pushed the boundaries of colour and design will be given the chance to compete for industry recognition and accolades that the awards command. Not only do winning projects share in the $18,000 prize pool, but they also receive national exposure, the showcasing of their winning entry at designEX COMFIA 2004 and publicity coverage in leading architectural and design publications.

The colour awards are judged by an independent panel of eminent names in the architectural and design industry including Shane Thompson, Ian Close, Andy Wong and the legendary Professor McIntyre.

Award categories for 2004 include Commercial Exterior, Commercial Interior, Residential Exterior, Residential Interior, Public Spaces and Temporary Structures, Grand Prix, State Commendations and Student categories.

The winners will be announced at the Dulux Colour Awards Night to be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney on April 21, 2004.
