Preference Floors bamboo flooring - specifiers floored

When you specify a product to be used in a project, you take it for granted that you'll get what you specified, unfortunately this is not always so. Quality products are all too often substituted for lower cost, inferior grade materials. This often goes unnoticed until something goes wrong and the entire floor needs to be replaced.

Preference Floors (Formally Style®) recognise how important it is to protect the reputation of their quality flooring product at any cost. Style has recently won a case against a Chinese manufacturer of bamboo flooring for a breach of patent of their strand woven technology. Several more patent infringement cases are pending.

Style flooring has been created to provide the look and feel of traditional timber flooring whilst combining excellent performance characteristics and resource efficiency. Made from mature moso bamboo, the hardness of the floor is more than one and a half times that of most hardwoods - on the Janka Hardness scale it rates an impressive 15.3 kN. Six scratch-resistant UV pre-finished coatings make it very hardwearing and perfect for heavy traffic areas. Plus, environmentally friendly Style is the only bamboo flooring with the tick of approval from Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA).

Style also offers a more extensive range of available colours. Three natural colours are complemented by five stained colours - ranging from warm and earthy browns to a rich red, through to a striking dark, liquorice brown - Autumn, Gunstock, Sienna, Saddle and Flint.

The Style flooring range is only available from recognised reseller outlets throughout Australia and New Zealand. Protect yourself against inferior products and verify your Style flooring is genuine, before it's laid.
