For people who take eco-tourism seriously, this house is an inspiring example. At the request of the house-owners of not cutting a single tree and constructing it entirely in concrete, Casa no Gere is a courageous feat.

The 'Casa no Gere' is a stunning 60 sq mtr home designed by Porto based architect, Gracia Correia and her Italian partner, Roberto Ragazzia. It is located in the heart of Portugal's Gere National Park by the Cevado River.

The architects did not want products that emit VOC's or a membrane that would have to be removed in a few years and create problems with landfill.
