Waterco unveils next generation Trident robotic pool cleaners

Waterco has enhanced its product suite of robotic pool cleaners with the addition of two new Trident robotic cleaners from Maytronic's. The new models - the Trident (Standard) and the Trident PRO - have been designed for cleaning efficiency, particularly for finer filtration collection.

"These all-terrain robotic pool cleaners are true robotic cleaners - they're not just electric cleaners," says George Flory, Waterco's Domestic Water Care Product Manager. "Trident robotic pool cleaners deliver automated, high performance pool cleaning efficiently and effectively. They build on decades of expertise in automatic pool cleaners and have consistently been at the forefront of innovation.

"State-of-the-art, advanced software control means they provide excellent pool coverage - from the floors to the walls to the waterline. Plus they're designed to significantly reduce the use of electricity, water and chemicals."

A point of difference of the two new Trident robotic pool cleaners is the new dual cartridge filtration system, ensuring there is sufficient capacity. They feature patented top opening filtration compartments for easy emptying and cleaning and they have ultra-fine porosity as a standard feature, which enables cleaning for fine dust particles. There is also an optional coarse net material available if heavy and larger debris collection is required.

"The dual level filtration system ensures a dust and debris free pool without clogging, resulting in crystal clear water throughout the pool," George explains.

A scanning and smart drive system is designed for systematic maneuvering, plus there's an obstacles escape system, which means it can overcome obstacles such as large main drains.

"Trident robotic pool cleaners are renowned for their advanced cleaning technologies and are designed for reliable, long-lasting performance," George says. "They also use a fraction of the resources compared with other pool cleaning systems, and the result is that they save pool owners time and money and minimise the environmental impact."

The Trident PRO is designed for pools up to 15m in length, while the Trident (Standard) for pools up to 12m in length. Both the Trident and Trident PRO have a grey body and black top section.

Improved one way quick water release valve, which prevents release of dirt back into the pool

Wall sensor: They know when they're on the pool wall
Motor protection mechanism: The cleaners shut off when overloaded or they are out of the water
Unique patented swivel: Prevents cable twisting and tangling during operation
Brush application to suit every pool finish: There's a combined brush for rough ceramics, pebble, painted or renders with glass finish (such as Quartzon and Beadcrete); and there's a wonder brush for tiled, vinyl-lined and fibreglass finishes
Complete DIY serviceable pool cleaner line: A simple ï¿½snap' mechanism enables easy dismantling and assembly of motors and PCBs, resulting in reduced service time and costs
