Project Brief

Arkvale Architects were engaged by Little Investigators ELC to install a carpet tile that was conducive to the Reggio Emilia approach; An educational philosophy that believes children have numerous ways of learning and make all these learning tools available. It is a very hands-on approach to education and discovering.

Project Solution

The Exchrome carpet tile range was selected as it was appropriate for the Reggio Emilia approach which is the core philosophy for the centre. Discovery and exploration are two key principles of the learning approach. The movement, personality, and inspiration of the Exchrome carpet tiles compliment and support these principles, encouraging students to be creative, use their imagination to discover, and ultimately learn and develop.

The feedback from everyone has been overwhelmingly positive including how the colour palette works so well in the finished environment.
