Waterproofing concrete without membranes by Radcrete Pacific![]() 'The most reliable and cost efficient way to waterproof concrete without using membranes'. The traditional system of concrete waterproofing using liquid or sheet membranes is yesterday's technology. Whilst there have been excellent advances in materials the membrane system itself is flawed. Laps, protection requirements, application risk, damage, delamination and speed of application all conspire to make a 100% successful membrane application difficult to realise. When failure occurs it is virtually impossible to locate the problem and punitively expensive to rectify. Today's concrete is generally 90% of the way to being watertight. The Radcrete Waterproofing System employs admixtures, impregnating agents, slurry coats and the correct detailing of penetrations and joints to deliver a watertight concrete envelope that will stay that way for the structure's working life.
