Axolotl Metal and Axolotl Ozone have entered 2006 with a blast.

Work currently under commission includes the 'Icecubes' restaurant in Sydney's Imax, a large feature wall at the Yves apartments in the Docklands, a fit out at the Qantas Club, and three casinos - the Darwin Casino, the Crown Casino in Melbourne, and the Burswood Casino in Perth. We'll include photos in future issues of Alchemy.

Our work continues to be cutting edge, such as this impressive sculpture, pictured top right, designed by Warren Langley for a project at Victoria Point in the Docklands in Victoria. Other photos on this page show more of the range and diversity of the Axolotl Ozone product.

Our Signature Series is almost complete and will be a 'must see' at this year's Designex in Sydney. The impressive line up of architects include Burley Katon Halliday, Dale Jones-Evans, Ed Lippmann, Alexander Tzannes, Bruce Rickard, Mellocco and Moore, Stanic Harding, Virginia Kerridge and Sam Marshall. Setting off the series at the Designex stand will be a 40 square metre Lustre wall which will be mirrored, backlit, and have a design deep carved into the glass surface.

Dale Jones-Evan's will further impress at DesignEx being the designer behind our biggest and best stand. Axolotl Ozone and Axolotl Metal will show off their latest and greatest products such as Lustre, Lustre Plus, Veil and Wallpaper.

Axolotl Metal is once again a major sponsor of both the Best Stands and Best New Products at the show and will be constructing the magnificent trophies.

Designex is on from 6-8 April and you will find us at stand INF05.

As part of the groups philosophy to champion great design, Axolotl Ozone is also throwing their support behind the 2006 Interior Design Awards. This annual program has been developed by the design industry to champion outstanding commercial and residential interior design.

More great design can be seen inside this issue in which we bring you stories on a large commercial gate bonded with Axolotl, a pewter kitchen, formed and printed glass for Mercedes Benz, and stunning new carved glass designs.
