Quartzite Pavers from Simons Seconds Quartzite - Clean, Crisp and Classy Quartzite is a hard metamorphic rock which started out as Sandstone, through heating and pressure (usually related to tectonic compression) the Sandstone is transformed in Quartzite. Quartzite is commonly known to have a white to grey appearance, although other colours may exist due to mineral impurities. It is generally used as a decorative stone and can be made into many products including pavers, tiles, stackstone and pool coping.
