3M Australia has recently moved into their new Head Office building at North Ryde, using 3M architectural and graphics products such as 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes and 3M™ Fasara™ Glass Finishes in the fit-out.

The key design concepts for the new building focussed around "Harnessing the Chain Reaction of New Ideas", the central theme in today's 3M where Collaboration and Integrity combine with traditional Innovation and Sustainability.

Wall graphic designs on each floor were inspired by 3M micro replication technology flowing into images of famous 3M Innovators that have meeting rooms named after them. Each floor has a range of collaborative work and social spaces developed to foster communication and interaction between all the 3Mers - using products such as 3M™ Whiteboard Projection Finish to help with idea sharing.

Collaboration is the key; there are no personal offices... not even for the Managing Director. Workstations are as close as possible to windows, giving access to natural light and views, with high quality workstation lighting in a very energy efficient way.
