The idea to develop the safety fittings came from the decision to increase the flow- consequently decreasing pressure drops, friction, noise and enabling the reduction of pipe sizes in some cases. This has been achieved by making a greater diameter socket on the pipe head for the connection.

"The jointing technology utilises a fitting with the same nominal bore as the pipe itself, unlike most plastic piping systems which use a fitting that is inserted inside the pipe and crimped, causing a flow restriction at every fitting junction, resulting in pressure loss and noise from the turbulence created".

The safety® system is suitable for hot and cold, HVAC, compressed air, mechanical systems and marine and agricultural use. With sizes from DN16 to DN90, it allows for the substitution of copper and steel, resulting in a much more affordable alternative and it is also the 'green alternative' to those products that have a huge impact in terms of GHG emission in their production phases, such as copper.
