Art Meets Architecture in Sydney Residence with AxolotlAustralian company, Axolotl, had the opportunity to collaborate with Marcus Piper on a Sydney private residence commissioned by Bijl Architecture. Art meets architecture on this stunning masterpiece that can be found on the property's stairwell. This is not the first collaboration of Axolotl with Piper, over the years they've worked together on a series of art projects. The AES artwork was made by combining ultra-fine 3D printing, precision machining, and patinated & hand-polished Axolotl bronze surface. This large-scale artwork has multiple embossed and carved panels. The geometry of the artwork also integrates the handrail of the staircase, blending seamlessly into the piece. Depending on the time of day, your position or your view, you'll get to see this art in a unique way. Reflection and light work hand in hand to deliver an art meets architecture experience like no other. Learn more about this project by Axolotl at www.axolotl.com.au.
