Electroplated Finishes at Prohibition Style Bar by Astor Metal Finishes
To achieve a certain aesthetic, one must be very mindful of the details. A good example of this is having electroplated finishes at a Prohibition Style Bar. Astor Metal Finishes worked with Palmer & Co, a whiskey bar in Sydney, which features a 1920s design. The property had leather-topped tables, vaulted brick ceilings, and a subway-tiled bar. Astor Metal Finishes electroplated the wide and curved aluminium edge strips that form the foot rails, banquette seating, and bar. The finish that was used was Tucana Natural, a light brown bronze.
The aluminium had an oiled finish, giving that trendy and chic look. Aluminium flat bars were also used for the custom handles plus joinery on the display cabinet-cum-room divider. The result of the electroplated finishes at the prohibition-style bar was a success. You can check it out as well as other works by Astor Metal Finishes at astormetalfinishes.com.
