Since films are less porous than window glass, they will not accumulate too much dirt. However, if you need to clean your window film just use water mixed with mild dishwashing detergent. Avoid strong and harsh chemicals like ammonia. For wiping, do not use paper towels instead opt for chamois or soft cloth.

For interior films, you may use silicone polish occasionally to keep the surface lustrous. If adhesive tape has been applied to the film, you may remove the tape by simply peeling it off. For residual adhesive, this can be removed with alcohol or mineral spirits.
