Magnetic overcame a challenge to design and install a high security solution in an area where gate run-off space was limited but fast opening times were a necessity. For this emergency services site, gates were required to block off the entry and exit points to prevent vehicle and pedestrians using the car park as a thoroughfare, however, conventional slide or swing gates would not fit due to space restrictions.

Two MSGB trackless bi-fold speed gates with 6.4-second opening times were installed on the site and were customised to client specifications to provide protection against external traffic. In addition, Magnetic had to coordinate and work closely with other security service providers, landlords, consulting engineers and the client to complete the project.
