THH HEATSTRIP outdoor electric radiant heaters will heat factories, showrooms, football stadiums and more from Thermofilm

Stylish and effective heating is possible for any outdoor or open indoor space with Thermofilm's range of HEATSTRIP outdoor electric radiant heaters.

The Australian-made and owned THH HEATSTRIP will cause a stir among heating traditionalists for its edgy, slim line design and revolutionary heating performance.

The sleek looking, energy efficient heater has many applications and is designed to tackle even the chilliest of outdoor or indoor environments.

HEATSTRIP has the potential to dramatically improve the lives of people working in cold factories, as well as enhance animal welfare and in the future may even warm us up at the footy!

As well as heating residential spaces, such as porches, balconies, spa areas or any other undercover area, it can spot heat vast factory spaces, drafty animal enclosures, spacious showrooms or other large indoor areas.

Wintry sidewalk cafes, beer gardens and alfresco restaurants will be transformed into warm and inviting spaces. Patrons will not even be aware of HEATSTRIP as it is mounted discretely on a wall or ceiling, don't glow red, emit fumes or odor, and most importantly, save valuable floor space.

Mounting options include the standard ceiling or wall mounting brackets; optional umbrella brackets or custom made brackets to suit any architectural design applications.

The subtly elegant HEATSTRIP emits comfortable heat up to 6 metres from the source.

According to Bob Reynolds, Thermofilm Australia managing director, HEATSTRIP is a space-saving alternative to the bulky and costly, gas-heating units currently available on the market.

"We designed and built HEATSTRIP to radiate sun-like heat evenly and efficiently but also made it look super stylish to complement any environment."

The 2400W model costs approximately 35 cents per hour to run (based on a 14 cent electricity tariff). Compared with the approximate $2.55 per hour cost of running an outdoor gas heater with a 9kg gas bottle. Adding timers, heat regulators and other control options further reduce heating costs.

"These minimalist heating panels will appeal to anyone with an eye for design. The beauty is you hardly notice they are there, you just enjoy being warm", Mr Reynolds said.

Publicans and restaurateurs will welcome the extra capacity as more available floor space is guaranteed and patrons will enjoy not having to navigate around hot and bulky gas heaters.

Animals too are set to reap the benefits as enclosures can be spot-heated to warm animals in shelters, breeding facilities, pounds or kennels.

The key design feature of HEATSTRIP is the unique surface of the extruded aluminium radiation panel, which rapidly disperses radiant heat evenly and efficiently.

The design ensures HEATSTRIP is safe to use and operates in silence, with no moving parts or glass components.

It is made from a hardwearing steel casing, and has been designed to be as maintenance free as possible.

Standard HEATSTRIP models feature black anodised aluminium radiation panels with a silver powder coated casing. Stainless steel encased models are also available.

HEATSTRIP is lightweight and designed for both commercial and residential use.

Other features include:

  • Designed and manufactured to meet Australian and New Zealand conditions and Electrical Standards for 230 to 240 volt operation.
  • International Water Protection Rating of IPX5 - ie protection from water splashing from all directions.
