Built in wardrobes need new doors?
We here at Sydney Doors manufacture new custom made wardrobe doors for built in wardrobes. Doors may be for new built in wardrobes or replacement doors for the refurbishment of an existing wardrobe. Door designs and pattern layout
Doors may be plain (no patterns on the face of the door) or have grooved patterns in a large range of styles.

Base material thicknesses and painting notes
The standard material used for our wardrobe doors is 18mm thick double sided white satin (on face and back) moisture resistant medium density fibre board (MDF). For a more substantial door, you may request 25mm thickness at an additional cost.

Doors and panels supplied unpainted in the double sided white satin base material are meant to be finished in a professionally prepared 2-pack polyurethane or similar coating system. Water based paints do not tend to bond easily to melamine surface and as such, the use of acrylic or domestic oil based paint is not recommended. Doors may be ordered with a raw face and back if you prefer to paint them yourself. In this case both the face and back of the doors must be painted to prevent bowing. The choice of raw MDF must be specified when ordering otherwise double sided white satin material will be used.

Polyurethane painted finish
When ordering polyurethane finished doors, the standard colours are "white" or "antique white", in either a satin or high gloss finish. If you prefer to choose your own colour to perfectly match your décor. The polyurethane finish is only applied to the face and edges of doors. You may need to specify which edges and side(s) of end panels you would like painted.

Hinged or sliding door accessories
Whether you need sliding wardrobe doors or hinged wardrobe doors we have the hardware as well. BLUM hinges for hinged wardrobe doors or recessed handles and track kits for sliding wardrobe doors are also available in various colours.

Your new polyurethane painted doors can be ready in 3 weeks (15 working days) and unpainted wardrobe doors in 1 week (5 working days). Delivery within the Sydney metropolitan area is also available.
