Heatstrip by Thermofilm Launches Sponsorship with the AFL

Heatstrip is proud to recently sign a major sponsorship with AFL South East. This covers sponsorship of junior, senior and Youth Girls AFL programs in the south east of Melbourne.

According to AFL SE Commercial Manager Peter Maynard, our sponsorship helps to "assist with the development of junior and senior programs in Melbourne's SE, as well as increasing participation at all levels, and promoting a healthy lifestyle in a team oriented environment".

Participation in junior football is extremely strong in the south east and peninsula regions of Melbourne, with many AFL listed players coming from local clubs in recent seasons. Also, the development of a Youth Girls competition in recent years has seen participation numbers growth significantly and provided a pathway to the new national female AFL competition beginning in 2017.
