Dulux is a world leader in the development of low cure powdercoating
Powdercoatings are one of the most environmentally friendly coatings. They are free of VOCs, allowing recycling of waste and eliminating emissions from the coating. Powdercoatings provide a strong, durable surface, which reduces maintenance and extends coating service life. But not all powdercoatings maximize environmental care. The energy required to melt and cure powdercoatings can be as high as 200°C. While gas is considered inexpensive in powdercoating operations, it contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Dulux is a world leader in the development of low cure powdercoating technology. Dulux has architectural coatings for metal finishing as mainstream stock that cure at lower temperatures and faster speeds than other products. Dulux offers powdercoating technology for application to MDF, plywood and particle board. These products cure at low temperatures, protecting the heat-sensitive substrates and the environment.
