Watertight multiple penetration seals from Projex Group

Projex Group announce the release of the German-made UGA system in Australia. This system encompasses mainly cable penetration seals as well as external pipe seals that can be retrofitted to existing pipe or cable penetrations so the penetration can be sealed against water or gas (or oils in some cases). The UGA range also covers fire plugs of different sizes that can be used to plug holes to give a fire-rated penetration.

The multi-cable seals are offered with the capacity of having different numbers of predetermined sizes of cables running through them. There is the potential to allow for extra cables to be fitted at a later time.

The sizes of the cable seals are dependant on the numbers and sizes of the cables being passed through the penetrations.

The fireplugs allow up to 60% of the area of the plug to be utilised for cable penetration - in conjunction with fire-rated sealant - to give a fire-rated penetration.
