Rotary Engraving Benefits from Architectural Signs

Depending on your requirements and desired outcome there are many engraving techniques available for you to consider.

One of the most permanent forms of engraving is Rotary Engraving.

It uses a single or multiple fluted tool that rotates through the substrate to remove the top layer to reveal the core layer.

Unlike drag engraving, rotary engraving can result in deep cuts or completely cutting out an object or letter.

*Benefits:

  • Allows for the use of the widest range of substrates, such as plastic, wood, ferrous and non-ferrous
  • Advanced electronics and new software capabilities allow for faster and more accurate engraving, smoother motion controls and time-saving features
  • Rotary engraving is a good method for engraving text-type messages e.g. to generate quantities of tags, name badges, nameplates, trophy plates, etc.
  • Can engrave virtually any size letter
  • With the proper technique, you can achieve both a two-dimensional and three-dimensional look
