Rail Bridge Deck Waterproofing with Radcon #7 from Radcrete Pacific Application of Radcon Formula #7 Radcon Formula #7 used on Kita-Senju rail bridge, Japan
SITE DETAILS Kashima Corporation was responsible for making the decision to use Radon Formula #7 on this project. Radcon has been the popular choice to waterproof bridge decks and suspended slabs all over the world and Japan is no exception. The Radcon application will now protect the concrete from the ingress of pollutants and water into the slab, thereby protecting the reinforcement and increasing the life span of the structure. The application of Radcon was conducted in the early hours of the morning so as not to interrupt the busy rail schedule of the JR Joban line in Chiba, Japan.
