Rail Stabling Gates

Magnetic has developed a high security gate design for train stabling yards. The purpose of the gate is to prevent vandals and pedestrians accessing trains when they are not operational.

The gates vary in size to accommodate the number of tracks, with single leaf gate up to 7 metres and bi-parting gates up to 14 metres.

The design of the stabling gate is similar to our MSG swing gate, however, modifications have been made to suit particular stabling yard requirements. This includes having the gate motor 700mm above ground level and 110volt-powered motor rather than the standard 240volt.

The stabling gates are integrated with existing train signalling and include additional security features such as maglocks and sensors. Magnetic Automation also offer a customised Pedestrian Rail Gate.
