Makmax Australia Sweeps 6 Awards at the 2022 LSAA Design AwardsMakmax Australia is honoured and proud to have received six (6) awards at the 2022 Lightweight Structures Association of Australasia (LSAA) Symposium and Design Awards. Held in May of this year, the award-giving ceremony recognises industry players in using lightweight materials for designing and constructing lightweight structures. This year, the 2022 LSAA Design Awards focused on the theme "Re-VIEW the past | Re-IMAGINE the present | Re-CREATE the future." Projects that are completed and submitted since 2018 are qualified to join and are judged according to the main criteria of design excellence, technical skills, and unique applications. Submissions included those projects that were completed during the past three years - plus those which were finished before, during and after the global pandemic. There were a lot of qualified and varied entries that ranged from small structures to large span roofs, as well as building facades- as long as it met the primary requirement of being made from lightweight materials.
