Wide Gates and Restricted Run-off Space from Magnetic Automation

Solutions for areas with restricted run-off space for wide gate openings

Magnetic recently installed a 15-metre wide bi-parting gate for a warehouse storage facility and distribution centre. A further two MHTM boom gates were installed to compliment the site's perimeter access.

The purpose of the boom gates is for the site staff to recognize who is coming in and at what time they entered the site. The bi-parting gate then lets the vehicle out of the site and identifies what time the vehicle left. This allows for improved control of who is on the site at any time and how long they were on the site for.

The bi-parting gates are constructed from fully welded Australian-made steel and is hot dipped galvanised for total protection and maximum life span. The gates are controlled by two motors, therefore, the speeds can be varied dependent on the duty cycle of the gates.
