Injection Materials from the Neoferma PUR-X® Range

PUR-X® is a range of Australian-made polyurethane injection sealants, formulated to seal leaking cracks, joints and voids in concrete. This is to provide soil stabilisation, giving the desired long-term result. PUR-X® is injected under pressure, from inside or outside the structure, with minimal disruption. The range is free of any VOCs.

CIW was contracted by a developer for a remedial project on a basement in Botany, Sydney. Neoferma were able to offer the best solution with the product PUR-X300. The first photo shows injection works being done to leaks on the basement floor. PUR-X300 is injected into the cracks. The second photo shows the same spot but after the completed injection and clean-up of the workplace.

PUR-X® is designed for:

• Sealing dry, moving, non-structural cracks/leaks as a 2-component system with a 1/1 ratio with water.
• Sealing moist, moving non-structural cracks/leaks as a 1-component system.
• Sealing leaking joints of concrete tunnel segments.
• Tunnel segment curtain injections
• Honeycombs below groundwater level.

The benefits of PUR-X®:

• PUR-X 300 is a single component, low viscosity, hydrophilic, polyurethane resin.
• After curing the resin, forms an inert, flexible, closed-cell foam with very good tensile and adhesion properties.
