Improve fire protection of your projects by using PROMASEAL Mortar. This fire-resistant mortar for concrete by Promat can offer up to 2 hours or 120 minutes of fire resistance. This cement-based product is lightweight and is already pre-mixed when supplied. The grey powder only needs to be added to water; it can then be used for penetration seals on masonry or concrete floors and walls. Just make sure these floors and walls have a greater-than-or-equal fire-resistance level for the PROMASEAL mortar to work.

To get the desired results, the mortar has to be at least 70mm thick. This can then be utilised for openings as wide as 800mm x 800mm.
