New product arrivals from Waterco; optional extras putting the secondary seal on your water pumps and filters

Optional Extras for the Micron SM Deep Bed Commercial Filters

Waterco Micron SM Deep Bed Commercial filters are now available with the option of an 80mm or 100mm sight glass and 300mm or 400mm lateral manholes. Waterco Micron SM Deep Bed Commercial filters currently have the option of vinyl ester for improved resistance to ozone and the option to increase its working pressure rating from 2.5 bar to 4 bar.

Waterco "Fish Tail" laterals
Conventional laterals used in domestic filters are not suitable for large commercial filters. "Dead legs" exist between the laterals and water flow is not optimised through the filter bed. Waterco's "Fish Tail" lateral configuration, eliminates any "dead legs" by improving water flow distribution through the filter bed.

Fish tail laterals are now available on Micron S Commercial filters fitted with 65mm and 80mm Multiport Valves.

Waterco's Secondary Seal
The mechanical seal is the wearing part of any pool pump. A mechanical seal may leak water if the pump is ever run dry or simply be worn out. If a leaky mechanical seal is not replaced promptly, water will travel up the shaft of the motor and ruin its bearings in a very short period of time. Waterco's Pump Secondary Seal protects the pump motor end shield from any water contact, by capturing any leaks through a worn out mechanical seal and draining it out of the pump, preventing water traveling to the pump motor.

Waterco's secondary seal is now available on Supatuf, Supastream, Aquastream, Aquamite and Supaflo

Waterco Hydrostar MKIII
Waterco's has just released its new and improved Hydrostar MKIII pump. The Hydrostar MKIII has been redesigned to provide even higher flow rates, higher head, with much lower noise.

Waterco has achieved these improvements through the introduction of an internal volute. The introduction of the volute creates a more favorable hydraulic design that provides a natural balanced flow and a decrease in hydraulic turbulence, thus improving the hydraulic efficiency of the pump. The result is improved flow, improved head and a decrease in noise.
