DI-NOC - The Flexible Alternative

3M DI-NOC Decorative Surface Finishes are lightweight, low pressure laminates that can be applied to moderately curved surfaces, on or off-site, providing greater flexibility for new projects and refurbishments.

Redcliffe RSL in Queensland recently refurbished one of their gaming areas. Instead of removing an overhead lighting and air conditioning bulkhead, they elected to apply DI-NOC to give it a new lease on life.

Brand + Slater Architects designed the refurbishment using DI-NOC Fine Wood interspersed with strips of DI-NOC Metallic.

Cooltone arranged the installation using Accredited DI-NOC Applicators to ensure the surface was prepared correctly and the DI-NOC applied professionally.

DI-NOC is applied to the curved surfaces on-site, so there was no need to remove the existing bulkhead, just correct preparation and good application produced a great result.

DI-NOC is a flexible film so the LED fitting holes were easily cut without special tools.
