Outdoor Signage for Substations from Architectural Signs Sydney

Electricity substations and power equipment are found everywhere. They are behind fences, in buildings, or on the side of the footpath, and most have danger signs. Substations transform the voltage generated at power stations so it can be distributed to homes, schools and businesses. Sometimes they are near parks and play areas. Substations are safe, but you must follow the rules.

Sometimes it's tempting to ignore signs and fences around substations. Remember, the warnings are there for everyone's protection, so they need to be followed. Clear signage which is long lasting is vital when producing substation signage.

The above example is a great way of producing very durable outdoor signage. This is a digital print on aluminium composite panel with a UV stable over laminate.

Brass looks great and is generally used in "older", more traditional applications or in modern buildings to match a colour scheme. This is brass engraved with black paint fill, finished and lacquered.
