High Intake Gully Grates from EJ

HIGH INTAKE GRATES

EJ, formerly known as Havestock, now offers a range of high intake gully grates.

"These are very specialised grates and used in areas of intense rainfall." said Marty DeWit, EJ Sales Executive.

"The wide openings facilitate the uninterrupted intake of a high volume of stormwater."

High intake grates are not for general use due to the large openings not being bicycle safe.

The grates are only to be used in areas away from general pedestrian, bicycle and road traffic use.

The grate is designed to still meet Class D loads in the event of service vehicles accessing the area where the grates are installed.

The high intake grate suits the standard Type J frame (900x600mm c/o) of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (QTMR).

A similar range of grating is now being developed for rail authorities.
