The 8 Substrates above are currently available as a kitchen splashback & wall panel in the market place.
This is an insight to what you are buying if its placed in a kitchen environment. There are businesses promoting their Acrylic splashbacks and wall panels perform & cut like Bonethane Premium.
This latest test will show you exactly what you are getting. If it splits & cracks & does not Fizzle out its not BonethanePremium! :)
All substrates above are placed under a naked candle flame at the same time. Look closely at the samples above the candles. There are 5 Acrylic samples ranging from 4mm to 10mm (laminiated coloured & coated backing Acrylic).
Bonethane sits in amongest the acrylic substrates. Whilst the Acrylics are burning with fury, Bonethane sits 6cm from the engulfed Acrylic substrates which sit on either side of Bonethane.
Bonethane being so stubborn does not submit itself to the the elements of fire that the Acrylics are sharing, yet with all the substrates faced with the same scenario it is clear that BonethanePremium is in a class of its own. This video shows you the impact of the flame & the velocity of ignition.
While all Acrylics ignite with speed & rage with fury, BonethanePremium, Alumethane & Aluminium composite panel, (all available from ISPS), share the prevention of fueling fire.
