New Aluminium Cladding Designs by DECO

DECO, the Australian manufacturer of aluminium building products, has launched two new designs to their DecoClad aluminium cladding range. Developed by top industrial designers, the new cladding profiles offer two unique styles offering more variety and greater design choice for all levels of the design industry.

The new angular, Croatian-inspired Croatia Board is a completely original design never seen before in Australia. A sharper take on a traditional ship-lap cladding design, the Croatia Board boasts a distinctive look with a 130mm width board with an 8.5 mm recess to create a tight jagged appearance. Inject some Balkans inspiration into your facade or feature wall with this one-of-kind cladding design.

Offering a more traditional appearance, the Weatherboard reflects the Australian charm of a beachside cottage or an adorning Queenslander. The 180mm width board is perfect for heritage restorations or inclusion in contemporary building architecture and offers a classic design that will never go out of style.

The two new profiles boast DecoClad's patented interlocking system and offer pre-punched fixing holes and long, 6.5m length boards for fast and easy installation. The system also includes a range of accessories to achieve a seamless, concealed fixing. Both profiles can be used vertically or horizontally and are suitable for a range of residential and commercial applications including external walls and façades, ceilings, gable ends and soffits.

As with DecoClad's other profiles - Shadowline, Narrowline and V-Groove - the new profiles are made from solid aluminium (with no composite core) and are deemed non-combustible in accordance with Australia's National Construction Code. DecoClad has also been tested and certified to AS 1530.1 and AS 1530.3.

All DecoClad designs are available in a choice of DecoWood's Super Durable™ powder coated natural woodgrain finishes or standard powder coat colours.
