Registered termite management - Homeguard from Exopest Control

  • Registered Termite Management System incorporating a chemically integrated chemical barrier, shown not to leach.
  • HomeGuard is a physical termite barrier system and is the first APVMA (Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority) registered termite barrier in single sheet form.
  • There are three components to the Homeguard system; Homeguard DPC, HomeGuard TMB and Homeguard Termite Collars. All offer long term protection of the structure against termite attack.
  • The majority of installations involve Homeguard DPC for the perimeter slab edge cavity and Homeguard termite collars for slab penetrations, plumbing, electrical etc.
  • HomeGuard TMB is specified for full under slab installations and construction joints.
  • HomeGuard web site for technical information, CSIRO approval No: 323, warranties, tech drawings etc www.homeguard.com.au.
  • Proactively and effectively kills, repels and physically restricts termites from the building - no other physical barrier system offers this.
  • Environmentally very friendly (non invasive and odour free). Non toxic.
  • HomeGuard is 'Ecospecifier' listing on the web. This is where architects, designers, builders etc refer to identify the most up to date environmentally friendly products. The URL web site is www.ecospecifier.org.
  • Installer friendly (non-scheduled and no-sensitising with no sharp edges).
  • HomeGuard will not crack, corrode, delaminate and approved for building work in all states. HomeGuard is manufactured in a single sheet matrix.
  • Full 10 year warranty (conditions apply) and made in Australia.
  • Doubles as an approved moisture barrier to save you money.
  • On site flexibility for the builder and installer as Homeguard is so easy to use on site compared to other out dated termite barriers.
  • What the Builder's said about HomeGuard, "The fact that the new HomeGuard collars do not have to be glued to the service penetrations because they have the repellency of Biflex has some important advantages on slabs built on highly reactive clay soils that can move up to 100mm in a year due to seasonal moisture variations. By not gluing the collar to the penetration you allow this movement without putting additional strain and stress on the pipes."
  • HomeGuard does not sensitize or 'sting' like some other physical barriers.
  • Suspended timber floor and concrete stump buildings can successfully be termite protected with Homeguard. HomeGuard DPC is installed around the perimeter brick wall on top of the engaged piers and across the brick work. HomeGuard DPC (approx 300 x 300) is installed between the concrete stump and the floor bearer.
