The Stamford Grand in Sydney has always been a source of pride for Radcrete. Not only does it demonstrate how well Radcon Formula # 7 waterproofs but that it is there for a VERY long time.

This project was completed in 1989 and was then filled with various water plants and many fish. Fish are the most sensitive creatures on the planet to any form of toxicity so it was critical that the waterproofing was ecologically friendly.

This entire pond is built on top of a car park so it is possible to walk under the lake and inspect the underside of the concrete. Twenty three years on and it is still perfect.

Radcrete was recently in contact with the original engineer/architect for the project who made the following comments:

Dear Michael,
It is my pleasure to confirm our recent discussions regarding my intention to specify RADCON Formula # 7 Waterproofing System for the use in the current construction of a large Water Treatment Plant at Plantation Island Resort in Fiji.

As I briefly explained, my reason for the selection of RADCON FORMULA #7 was based on my experience as the architect for the "Stamford Grand North Ryde" Resort Hotel in Sydney which was built 26 years ago.

To this day, I am unaware nor have I been informed of any repair or replacement of the selected water proofing system during the past years. Based on such outstanding performance I have come to the conclusion that the use of RADCON FORMULA #7 will be the appropriate water proofing system for the project at hand in Fiji, in particular, taking into account restrictive conditions at the island location.
