Mechanical Stone Fixings for Blusetone Cladding from KHD St Kevin's College - Toorak KHD supplied mechanical stone fixings for the project at St Kevin's College in Toorak. The new Glendalough Music Facility was clad internally & externally in ripple drafted bluestone tiles. The 1000 x 500 x 20mm Bluestone cladding was fixed using a combination of set stone clips and adjustable stone clips. At the front of the building the façade cut back from vertical and posed a challenge to hang the stone safely. The steel frame was designed & built incorporating Unistrut railing to accept the 8mm Midrail Stoneclip with great success.
