From London's Zoo's penguin colony to a luxury residential project in China's Hainan province, Waterco's Hydrostar Plus composite plastic pumps are featured in some of the world's biggest - and most challenging - commercial installations.

To cater to the growing demand for high-performing, self-priming pumps that can withstand high-pressure, corrosive environments, Waterco has expanded the Hydrostar Plus series by producing a larger, commercial thermoplastic 12.5hp model that can deliver 2500 litres of water per minute.

"Seamlessly constructed from an injection moulded glass reinforced thermoplastic, this latest pump in the Hydrostar range is free of the welds, seams or tank linings that typically corrode or electrolyse traditional custom-made strainers," says Waterco's Andy Gale. "It also features a transparent polycarbonate lid, enabling an unobstructed view of its 16-litre strainer basket."
