Many home owners are increasingly seeking ways to cost effectively save and store storm water due to water restrictions and increased water costs. VersiTanks offer an efficient and cost effective way to allow rainwater to be captured and stored under driveways and garden areas, enabling stored water to be used to irrigate landscaped areas.

VersiTanks, manufactured in Australia from recycled plastics, are high strength underground modular storm water tanks and have the capacity to cater for rainwater run-off from houses up to large commercial developments. VersiTanks are easily assembled on-site by clipping together, lightweight, high strength interlocking panels.

VersiTanks interlock ensuring maximum stability. VersiTanks may be installed under trafficable areas. VersiTanks are modular and cater for all space and volume requirements.

VersiTank® 550 Re-Use Tank Installation

• An area is excavated to the required dimensions and the base is leveled. A minimum of 150mm washed compacted sand is laid on the base.
• A membrane placed between two layers of heavy duty geotextile is positioned over the base and up the walls of the excavated area. The assembled VersiTank units are positioned on the geotextile.
• The installed VersiTank units are then enveloped with one layer of heavy duty geotextile, followed by the membrane and finally with a second layer of geotextile.
• The 20,000Lt tanking system is now ready to accept storm water. The water passes through a leaf silt trap to ensure debris and silt in the water from down pipes and impermeable areas does not enter the VersiTank system.
• The pump outlet pipe will be connected to an irrigation pump and the water used to irrigate a large garden area.
