Finnleo Sauna and Steam - get the most from your experience

As with any form of leisure or exercise, there are generally some good guidelines to follow. For the optimal sauna experience, we'd like to make a few recommendations:

  • This is your time to feel great. Let common sense and your enjoyment guide you.
  • Set the sauna temperature between 75 and 95 degrees.
  • Stay in the sauna for 10 to 15 minutes, step out and cool off, then return to the sauna for another session. Repeat as desired.
  • Don't over do it. Adjust the temperature and humidity to your comfort level.
  • If you begin to feel uncomfortable leave the sauna and cool off.
  • Experiment with humidity by sprinkling water on the rocks. One of the great benefits of a sauna is the ability to control the amount of moisture in the air - to suit your liking.
  • After your sauna, take a shower or bath to cleanse your skin of salts and residues left behind. cool rinse will close your pores and leave you feeling refreshed.
  • Drink water or vegetable juice to replace lost fluids.
  • Consult your physician if you have a history of heart problems, high blood pressure or other health problems.
