ATDC has successfully installed its heavy-duty expandable barriers at the new Strike Bowling outlet in City Century Walk, Glen Waverley, near Melbourne. Strike Bowling is one of Australia's leading tenpin bowling alley chains, requiring reliable and secure entry solutions for its venues.

Project Design Specifications

The installation included four steel expandable barriers, designed to achieve lock-up security through intermediate up/down locks for seamless protection. These barriers require minimal overhead room, as continuous structural support beams above the extruded aluminium head track provide stability. Additionally, they eliminate the need for a floor track, ensuring unobstructed pedestrian flow.

With over 80% maximum airflow, these barriers allow for proper ventilation in commercial spaces. They can reach a maximum height of 4600mm, with an unlimited width to suit various entry points.

Project Management and Finishes

The installation was managed by Collingwood-based Lexon Group. The barriers were supplied in a satin black powder-coated finish, with pearl white as another standard option. Additional colours are available within the Dulux Duralloy Powdercoat range.

Warranty and Contact Information

ATDC provides a 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship. When not in use, these barriers fold away completely, ensuring a clear retail trading space.
