Architectural Mouldings from Chad Plaster & Facades

architectural mouldings

Main Drive Kew has not looked any better.

Chad Plaster & Facades Decorative Range of Architectural Mouldings have been supplied and installed to the luxury home development in Main Drive Kew, Victoria. The developer Walker Corporation, was after something unique and maintenance free, and a product that had to be light weight. After onsite consultation Chad Plaster & Facades was contracted to supply and install the project with these light weight mouldings to create a striking look on sections of the facades of these apartments. The mouldings were complimented by being painted in black, making the facades a stand out feature. Equivalent fibre cement products were simply too heavy for this project. The Developer was seeking the maximum R value rating by using 100mm Polystyrene cladding, but still wanted to achieve a unique modern look never seen before.

One of the key benefits of Chad Plaster & Facades Architectural Mouldings is that they are light weight. Our specialised manufacturing process enables these exclusive moulds to be cladded to a polystyrene rendered substrate, resulting in the superior finished product. Another attraction is that they are maintenance free, opposed to timber cladding, which requires ongoing maintenance with repairing and painting. Due to Chad Plaster & Facades mouldings having a polystyrene core, which is coated in a polymer modified render, this allows for natural movement resulting in no cracking and a long term maintenance free product.
