Colour and Lights from Volker Haug at DesignEX 2011

One of Australia's most exciting young lighting designers, Volker Haug, is set to unveil new features and colours in his distinctive 'jewellery' ranges at designEX 2011.

Volker is passionate about lighting and lighting design and his quirky creations can be found in bars, restaurants, retail spaces, as well as private homes.

The 'jewellery' ranges are all about "S" for Simple and "U" for Unbelievably Dynamic. Dynamism is created by "choices" - choices around all components in the design - from the colour, shape, and finish, to the lamp-holder, the lamp and cord. Modern, elegant, yet totally "cutting edge" and available in wall, cable and table designs.

DesignEX visitors will see a new design and fabric cord colours in the 'wall jewellery' (yellow gold, electric blue, olive green, silver and black) and new cord colours for the 'cable jewellery' (electric blue, olive green and silver). New component colours of polished brass and chrome will also now be available for both styles.

Whether being feted by thecoolhunter.com.au or being used in high profile collaborations like The Ludlow Formation (in Melbourne's Riverside Quay) with Maddison Architects, Volker Haug represents the pinnacle of modern Australian design innovation.
