Caroma Turns Function into Design with New Coloured Bottle Traps

Adding unexpected style and colour to a functional bathroom piece, leading Australian bathroomware supplier Caroma has extended its range of bottle traps by introducing colour options.

Marking an Australian first in the market, the new Noir (black) and Blanc (white) Eco Bottle Traps create an aesthetic design feature to a normally understated basin area.

The new colour options extend the existing Chrome Eco Bottle Trap range, to give designers and renovators more choice when creating their ideal bathroom space. Bottle traps are used with wall basins as an optional replacement for a standard plastic waste trap. Bottle traps are a standard fitting and are screwed to the waste from the underside of the basin.

Leading the way in innovation and design, and by using the differentiation of colour in the bathroom, the new Caroma Eco Bottle Traps make the basin a statement piece. Commenting on the new range, Mr Stephen Neall, Business Unit Manager for Sanitaryware at GWA Bathrooms & Kitchens said, "Caroma has recognised that bottle traps are now becoming a feature in the bathroom, and in an Australian first, we have added coloured options to the market."

The Caroma Eco Bottle Trap complements a range of wall hung basins with a designer look and feel, and has a 40mm connection to suit most bathroom basins. Constructed of brass with high quality chrome fittings, the Eco Bottle Trap is Watermark approved and designed to last.

The Eco Bottle Traps from Caroma are available in chrome, black and white, and will be ranged in selected renovator showrooms and home improvement stores throughout Australia.
