New Lambton Bowling Club Canopy by MakMax Australia.

Makmax Australia is proud to be part of the reconstruction project of the Wests New Lambton Bowling Club. The project called for a complete shade and weather solution to cover a BBQ area, a single bowls green, and the perimeter walkway around the second green within the club area.

For the protection of the bowlers from the sun and various weather conditions, Makmax Australia designed and constructed a top-quality bowling green PTFE dome roof over one of the greens, and an added shade coverage for the second green- providing protection to players from the elements all year round.

With design limits from the council, the engineering team from Makmax produced a customised low shape leaning-arch design with a shallow pitch, as well as bespoke accouterments to provide strength and stability for the roof structure.

Makmax Australia used two types of membrane fabrics for the project: SHEERFILL V, a highly translucent, PTFE fabric membrane that provides superior strength and durability; and SERGE FERRARI 720T2 fabric, chosen for its self-cleaning properties and premium durability.
